I was very fortunate to have Elena as my doula 16 years ago. She is a very nurturing, knowledgeable and caring person. We connected after our first appointment.

Elena helped me and my husband enormously to navigate through tons of new information as first time parents: getting the right books to read, finding great resources online, answering endless questions and concerns. Her knowledge and care helped me to get through a few rough moments at the end of my pregnancy and some complications during the labour. She was guiding me through each contraction during the very long (36 hours and no epidural) labour with her calming and gentle energy. Thanks to her I felt certain that all is going well. Right after my son was born she helped with breastfeeding. Because of the right start I had no negative experience with nursing my son.

Yelena Skorik, you are my angel! ) I wasn't breastfeeding my first baby for a long time, as I got a lot of issues with that. Now I see that all I needed was a good professional help in proper latching and just a moral support. With my second baby I was determined to breastfeed and when on our first day after hospital I realized it's not working, I asked Elena for help. What can I say? One day with her became a total game changer for us. She helped me to latch my girl properly, to hold her correctly and gave a lot of valuable advises after. It's been almost month and a half since the day she came, my baby is exclusively breastfed and I have no issues at all in the process. Yelena Skorik is amazing!!! She helped me so much with breastfeeding. Before giving birth,I thought that breastfeeding is something natural and when I have my baby - it will just come together. Maybe it's the case for some women, definitely not for me. Before meeting with Yelena, I went to NYGH Lactation clinic, however, my experience there wasn't very helpful - I got even more confused after my appointment than I was before. When I called Yelena I was in pain( my son didn't latch properly and I was worried that he is losing weight) and almost panicking because I could figure out if my milk came, so basically I had no idea what to do. Even though I read the entire book on breastfeeding, when it comes to your own experience - it's not always black and white. Yelena came to my house the next day and spend 8 hours with me explaining how to latch, hold my baby, what should breastfeeding feel like( it shouldn't be painful,etc), to use or not to use pacifier/ breast pump and answered 100 other questions that I had. It was so-so-so helpful.

I'm extremely grateful that I met Yelena and I'm able to breastfeed my son.

Highly recommend Yelena's services! She's very knowledgeable specialist with 20 years of experience and great person. She is very approachable, easy going, with a great sense of humour which is, in my opinion, important when it comes to such a personal thing as breastfeeding.

There are many descriptions of who is Doula and how she can be useful during pregnancy, delivery and after the childbirth. I'll tell you about Doula Yelena Skorik, I've been lucky to use her services! Doula Yelena became a close person who supported me in a very important period of my life. She has deep professional knowledge and vast experience. She knows everything and even more about pregnancy, delivery and children.

During my pregnancy, Yelena visited us several times, she told about what happens when contractions start and how to deal with them. Also she told what to bring to the hospital and what the child will need in the first months after birth. Everything without unnecessary costs. My delivery was complicated, lasted about three days. Yelena stayed home with me and helped to deal with contractions. We tried different poses, learned how to breathe and think! Yelena stayed with me all day in a hospital, she did massage, taught my husband to help me. She clearly and quickly solved all the issues which appeared in the hospital, giving me the opportunity to concentrate on my feelings. She breathed with me, helped me with every contraction, held my hand and did everything to facilitate the birth as much as possible. Yelena convinced the medical staff to try various poses during pushing and finally I gave birth to my son by my own. She stayed with us after the birth, attached the baby to the breast and shared our happiness with us!

Yelena helps me with breastfeeding, she always in touch, carefully answers all my questions. I don't need to search information on the Internet or anywhere else, I can always call and ask a professional!

Yelena has provided full service, has given us valuable information at all stages and has been caring and attentive.

Yelena can be trusted with the most valuable thing in life - the birth of your child! And if someday God give us a second pregnancy, we will share this way with Yelena

Моя подруга родила 4го ребёнка.Зная печальный опыт с первыми тремя,были готовы обратиться за помощью к консультанту по грудному вскармливанию.Что подруга и сделала ещё в больнице.Сразу было понятно,что что то идёт не так.Она пыталась справиться сама.В результате -жуткая боль,плачущий голодный ребёнок,нервная мама и вся её семья.Так длилось 4-5 дней.А на шестой пришла помощь в лице Yelena Skorik

This was my second experience of giving birth with doula Elena and I want to share my raves about her work.

Lena helped me to choose a hospital. Also we found giving birth with a midwife more suitable for me. Second time I was lucky enough to ask Lena any questions about my physical discomfort or any strange thoughts that had been in my head throughout my pregnancy. She has always helped me calm down, dispel doubts and make important decisions based on her deep knowledge and professional experience. Lena went with me to a hospital for childbirth. We did exercises together to push my contractions. Lena took me through

every contraction with massage, words, breathing, eye contact. She described all my feelings throughout the labour, which helped me to give birth without an epidural. Lena helped to breastfeed my baby boy in the first minutes of his life.

Lena, the memories of this childbirth take my breath away, and, you know, I want to repeat it!
